What is FBM?

FBM means Fulfilled By Merchant, This is when a seller fulfils their own orders from listings on Amazon Marketplace. You are responsible for your own storage, prep, packing and shipping.

What is FBA?

FBA means Fulfilled By Amazon, this is when Amazon fulfils your orders on their market place, including prep, packing, shipping and storage

Why use a Prep Centre?

By outsourcing this time-consuming process to prep and shipping experts, you free up more time in your day to focus on other aspects of your business, such as sourcing new products.

Who creates my shipments?

Unless otherwise instructed, Prepared for You will create shipping plans on your account to maximise the amount of products in each box we ship for you.

Do you ship pallets?

We can both send and receive pallets, however we do require a tail lift as there is currently no forklift present on site.

Do you receive grocery?

Thanks to our location in the heart of Gainsborough town centre, in a retail-grade premises we are able to receive grocery deliveries without issue.

How is UPS charged to me if it isnt through you?

Being Amazons "Partnered carrier", UPS shipments created through Amazon seller central are automatically billed to you directly through your amazon account.

What is bespoke prep?

"Bespoke prep" is prep outside the standard of amazons requirements, this can be preparing unique bundles or special packaging requirements requested by yourself (Additional charges may apply, these will be agreed with you before any work is carried out on bespoke prep)

Do you ship dangerous goods? How is it charged?

We are able to ship dangerous goods both domestically and internationally, thanks to our IATA Category 1 Certification. Domestic shipments are usually handled by Parcelforce, international shipments are handled by DHL.

Domestic dangerous goods are invoiced with your regular billing cycle.

International dangerous goods are billed weekly in like with DHL Billing.

Where do i access reimbursements on Amazon Seller Central?

How often do you bill for prep?

Prep invoices are sent out fortnightly in line with amazon payments.

What do i do if my account handler is on holiday or sick?

If your account handler is on holiday or ill, we do have a guest account assigned to shared spreadsheets and a warehouse contact in group chats meaning you are always able to be serviced by someone if your account handler is unavailable for any reason.
